Yes, and, I've never found a situation where it was needed to be used by
the name with the space in it. You could always assign "RAM disk" to
"RAM:" anyway, then it wouldn't matter how the "RAM:" /device/ was named.

Use the Relabel AmigaDOS command, in your S:User-Startup to change the
name.
The command line ought to be something like:
Relabel RAM: RAMdisk
