DOpus does indeed use def_disk.info for all hard disks and floppies. A newly
formatted hard disk partition will use the default floppy icon. But there's
nothing stopping you from changing the icon on the partition once formatted.
The DHx:disk.info is then used in place of the default disk icon. TBH I'd
forgotton about this until I formatted a partition the other night.
As DOpus doesn't use the O/S3.5 system of default icons the only way round
this is with filetypes. It's not a perfect solution but it works.
