Auto-switching of
CV64-3D & AGA graphics output to your monitor
Now the CV64-3D graphics card is widely available many customers have asked us to come up with a method of automatically switching their monitor from the CV64-3D card to the Amiga's (usually scandoubled) native AGA output whenever a program re efuses to retarget its output to the graphics card. Well we've listened - and produced the AMON - a new high quality video switching unit based on our very successful xMON range. The AMON physically fits directly beneath the CV64-3D's SVGA connector in th he position normally reserved for its own non-flicker-fixing scandoubler (see picture). No Video slot adapter is needed for the Z4 busboard - or for any other Zorro adapter - to take advantage of the AMON. As with the other members of the xMON family, the AMON uses high quality video relays to minimise video signal degradation. It is available with three connection options on the 'AGA' side: for direct connection to Eyetech's EZVGA Mk 2 internal flickerfixe er for the A1200 & A4000 (model AMON/F); for connection to the Amiga's 23-pin RGB port for use with multisync monitors (model AMON/A); and for connection to any other internal or external scandoubler/flickerfixer - including A2000/A3000 intenal units (mo odel AMON/S). Please note that the AMON will only work in conjunction with the CV64-3D - and not with other graphics cards. And the best news is that the AMON is now available at the same price as the equivalent manually switched version, the CMON. For those who really want to stay in control at all times we are also making the AMON available with an optional manual override s switch for just £10 extra. Finally if you have recently purchased a xMON switcher and wish to upgrade to a fully automatic AMON then we are offering a trade-in/upgrade package for just £20 + carriage. |
