In the last weeks there was a lot of confusion on the Amiga Market. We saw the Phase 5 announcements concerning their G3 Board and Amirage. We saw the WOA with the announcements from Amiga. And we are seeing the OS3.5 Development since quite some time.

In the light of these confusing events it is time for clarifying our position (see below who is "we").

We certainly hope Phase 5 will support WarpOS and Warp3D or will work with H&P to allow WarpOS/Warp3D to support these upcoming G3 boards and Cybervision NG cards. Our software relies heavily on Warp3D of which no PPC library version exists or is even possible. We make extensive use of functionality only WarpOS provides. Also our projects are in the meanwhile too much advanced to change something this major like the used PowerPC Kernel, both out of commercial and technical reasons.

Moreover, it should be remembered that WarpOS was endorsed by Amiga as the official PPC kernel. In short: for economic and technical reasons we cannot justify developing a ppc.library version of any of the below mentioned titles or even future titles. Additionally it is very important for us that the WarpUP Software will be available at the same time as the new hardware. The Amiga cannot withstand another market split. We also hope that Phase 5 and H&P will clear up the confusion with a joint announcement soon.
