hi all
just a quick message to all those amiga fans out there...
ever since my lovely 060/PPC amiga blow up (bad tower and power problems) i have been stuck with a not so good z4 bused tower and a cybervision 64 3D graphics card with a 060 @66 with 32 mbs of ram on it. im wanting to sell the following :
a Z4 Tower with a Z4 bus board with a Cybervision 64 /3D(4mb) with all the amiga 1200 motherboard fixes in place, a smon which auto switches between the aga/cybergfx modes, a audio mixer, a 1200/4000 keyboard and interface, has port junior for a serial interface as well, not to mention a 060 @66 mhz with a choice of 8mbs or 32 mbs of ram. can have also all the software that the basic amiga start pack gives too. its basically a professional Z4 tower system but with a 06 @ 66mhz instead. It has no floppy drive, no hard drive and no cd -rom drive but comes with everything else. the last couple parts mentioned are easy and every cheap to get hold of. i reckon its all work near a £1000, but i will pay postage and packing, but not sure of a price to be sold at, so please give me some offers that i cant refuse !! its all in execllent working order (as i havent used it, since last december due to problems with lack of monitors) but there is a little dent in the top of the tower as something fell on it !! but i will deduct a bit for that.
Blizzard Vision PPC graphics card which im told works fine but as i have no ppc board to use with it (or a lack of one that works) i want to also get rid of it. has power cable for it as well. again, worth, i guess about £150 still, but not sure on price so again, give me an offer i just cant refuse !

also, i have a question too...
to anyone that has any ideas on the subject, please email me direct or just drop one in the message board thingy, im wanting a new amiga as i have just a 040 with a cd rom and hard drive and some extra memory, but im wanting a faster one so that i can finally put my new 'pc' into shame and once more show my friends that amigas a better...
but, im not sure which way too turn.
could anyone give me any advice as too what to do. i have any amount of money, but i just want the best for the computer as a whole, so i was thinking about this amiga one thing and a decent graphics card with a super fast g3 or g4 up its buttom ! or is it just as good to get another ppc card and buy either a preditor or a mediator card with a voodoo 3000 ? i just want something thats vaule for money and going to be lasting a good few years without any upgrades.... unlike my pc as i was thinking a few months ago to upgrade the processor and get something past a 1ghz.... (i have a duron at 800 mhz at the mo.... but its been overclocked... works a lot better too !! surprisingly.... anyway.............)
any advice is always welcome on this subject so please give me a shout...
amigas rule !! apart from when they blow up and u have to go out and buy a pc to replace it.... :(
