My I just 'stick up' for Elbox here a little. O.K. I agree that Eblox do
tend to slag off other competitors and I think that it is toally
unecessary.
They had the first PCI solution working and beind sold before anyone else.
I personally think that they got it right in not tying the PCI solution to
any other product (like the G-Rex) hence not being very restrictive to what
system it is fitted to.
>From a support point of view they have been very good. They have delivered
excellent drivers for the Voodoo graphics cards even though they really
should have sorted the problem with the Picasso96 software legality. But,
thier own success has put more on thier plate and I understand why it has
been difficult to get more drivers completed.
On another note. They also sent to Sam Thomas lots of leaflets which we
handed out at the show. We are very greatful for them doing that.
Anyone who went to the Kickstart show would have seen both Sams and my
Mediator system running. Unfortunately we didn't get to demonstrate some
of the stuff we had running on our systems. They were both linked together
via Ethernet and we did have Dynamite running for about 5 minutes, but
didn't get to show off the internet sharing capabilities.
Maybe next time....
