If you have a scsi card in your pc, then connect up the zip using the scsi
cable rather than the parallel adapter, your pc will then see the zip as a
removable device, like a floppy drive.
I've never used iomega tools as my Jaz drive acts like an external scsi
floppy, albeit a 2gig floppy! It accesses the Jaz as fast as the internal
hard drive.
Format it the same as your PC hard drives! ie if they are FAT32 then format
the disk and convert to FAT32.
