Hi,

I've recently purchased an EZMouse and thought I'd add my opinion to the
couple posted here recently. I'm using it with a (lovely) Logitech optical
wheelmouse.

First, the good stuff:

Installation was dead easy and it worked great first time. The supplied driver
software was easy to set up and everything is hunky dorey. My new mouse is
really nice, and I can still access the early boot menu etc. etc.

I do have a couple of minor niggles with this system though. The first is that
I was using a Wizard 560dpi 3 button mouse before, with full acceleration and
speed in input prefs. The logitech obviously is a lower resolution, as the
pointer is nowhere near as nippy as it was before. No problem, i thought,
I'll just up the pointer speed in FreeWheel prefs... Aaagh... this just makes
the mouse pointer movement really awful! it leaps around the screen in a most
unusable fashion even when FreeWheel is set to just 130%! I guess I'll just
have to get used to the slower pointer, which is a real pain on my nice big
workbench :(

The other niggle is that you can't set the middle mousebutton to act as a
normal Amiga 3rd mouse button, which is supported (although obviously not
used on 2 button mice) by both hardware and the Amigas operating system as
standard. I used to use my 3rd mousebutton to activate an alternative
startup-sequence, and it used to bring up pop-up menus in AWeb, but no
longer... I would have thought that the 3rd button would just be wired as a
normal one so it would work even when no driver software was running, and 4+
buttons would use a driver.

Aside from these two niggles, I whole-heartedly recommend the EZMouse,
especially with a nice optical mouse.

The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human jumping the
