I use HiSOFt C with OS 3.9 -- AND DOpus 5.82, for that matter...works
fine. The interface is a bit tricky to learn, but once you get the hang
of it it's second nature...
Beware, though...I was using HiSoft C for my C++ class I just finished,
and there are quite a few basic things missing, such as the "bool"
datatype and the "iomanip.h" header file...
