You MAY have to flip a couple of jumpers on your A4000 motherboard,
depending on what card you had before. If you had the A3640, you
shouldn't have to, though.
Something that Chris at Software Hut is a big preacher of -- press the
68060 chip nice and firmly into the slot; it might have been knocked a
bit out of line or something. And press HARD -- I watched this guy
press mine into my Cyberstorm card on his workbench so hard he nearly
lifted himself off the ground!
Make sure the clock crystals are in place, too...they should be
soldered into place and ergo not able to move at ALL, but you never
know...just make sure they're firm.
ANd one thing you probably should try -- disconnect ALL DRIVES --
floppies, hard drives, etc. and turn the power on. Chris says give it
about five minutes, but I'd give it at least ten. Hopefully you'll get
the Kickstart anim eventually.
If all else fails, just make sure that your Cyberstorm is seated firmly
in the CPU slot, especially if your A4000 is in a tower case. Remove
two of the plastic pegs -- the two that are on the inner side of the
case -- that hold the card in place, they might be pushing the card out slightly.
