That's what it is (in other words, it's a shell enhancement). I
uninstalled it and installed KingCON instead, but use whichever you
prefer.

No, HappyENV assigns ENV: to the same place as ENVARC: which saves you
some RAM, and speeds up boot time because your startup-sequence isn't
copying lots of little files to RAM every time you boot.
