1280x768 won't give anywhere near square pixels. I suggest either
1024x768 or 1280x1024.
I use a copy of the Mac Chicago font (15-pixel) for the menu bar, and
XHelvetica for all the small stuff.
I renamed the Chicago ripoff as "Sinclair" (after an author who wrote
about Chicago). If you want it, I can mail it to you.
The Xen fonts came with Magic workbench, IIRC. They were hand drawn
with great care, I forget who by.
