I your graphics card doesn't have enough memory to hold both screens,
each one will have to be loaded from fast RAM before switching. This is
done at high priority and can stop everything else for a second or so,
especially with a Zorro-II card.
Increasing the buffer size in MasterISO should help. If MasterISO allows
you to mess with the priorities of the read and write tasks, you could
try bumping up the priority for writing.
