I seem to remember that I had to obtain the sync frequencies, horizontal and vertical, and alter those settings for the screens that weren't clear. I got the settings from the monitor manual, alternatively you might try a search on the web. You may be able to locate the manufacturers website and it may have tech details.
Sorry I can't be more specific, it was a long time ago when I set my monitor up.
