Hi,
Thanks for your help so far regarding my 'starting
from scratch' message. I still seem to have a problem
receiving e-mails from yahoo (20 over the last few
days) so I can't reply to them yet.
I have now noticed something strange with my hard
drives. I have two drives, 2.5" IDE 810Mb & 3.5" SCSI
10Gb connected to a Power Flyer via the master and
secondary ports. This has been fine for as long as I
can remember.
When I run HDToolBox it now display's the following
list of drives:
(1) IBM-DPRA-2810 - 773Mb
(2) NIKIMA NIK-XP102A - 3.9Gb
(3) NIKIMA NIK-XP102A - 3.9Gb
(4) NIKIMA NIK-XP102A - 1.5Gb
No. (1) is the 2.5" IDE (Master) - No problems there.
No. (2),(3) and (4) is the SCSI 10Gb drive that is
partitioned into DH5: and DH6: ONLY.
When I select No.3 or 4 I get the message:
This drive is not installed yet. Do you want to
install it?
WARNING: This destroys any data on the drive (if it is
installed for another computer or OS).
Both partitions (DH5: & DH6:) work fine and have done
for a long time. Why am I suddenly getting this
message?
Can anyone help me?
Regards
Steve
