Subject: | Networking OS3.9 -> Slackware Linux - Help! |
Hello All,
I`ve just acquired an old 486 from the technician at college. I`ve
installed Slackware Linux on it in the hope that I could use it to
serve my Miggies, among other things.
It does have a PCI Ethernet card but I don`t have one (yet) for me
A1200. I do have Weird Science`s Net PC. Although Net PC needs DOS
6/Windoze 95 I was hoping I could use the custom parallel cable to
temporarily link them.
Is this possible? What software do I need?
Please help - both my Linux and networking experience is just about
zilch.
Cheers,
Gareth Kempster
