You can attach a CD32 to an A1200 by using the CD32's PS2 keyboard socket!
(can't you?)
Therefore, could you not use a PS2/Din converter to connect a Commodore 64
disk drive to a CD32?
A suitable driver would be needed and a way of accessing the file
system.......
Forget it! Sorry! The C64's 1541 disk drive uses a non standard Din plug,
doesn't it! And there's no way that a BBC floppy could be read by a 1541
drive!
Digital convergence anyone? I'll have two, with a large portion of
microchips! <gg>
