Mine took a bit longer than 20 minutes, but that was because they decided to
stand around looking somewhat confused by the existing phone socket and the
fact that the 2 flats above me are wired into 1 socket in my living room. And they
had to attach it to the wall in a somewhat Blue Peter kind of way (with double
sided sellotape).
And on top of that, they turned up an hour and a half early, which was (a) quite
surprising, and (b) meant I had 10 minutes to get dressed and have a fag before
they arrived. (At least they phoned to check if they could come early).
Apart from all that, and the fun I had trying to find my Windows CD buried in all the
stuff I haven't unpacked, it wasn't too painful an experience. And it's all running
wonderfully now. Who'd have thought you could download por^H^H^H enormous
files so quickly.
