| Subject: | Booting no start up problems |
I was hoping some one could help me. I sent this a while ago but didnt get
any response so I thought I'd try and be a little more specific.
I boot no startup to play payback as on this blizzard 1200 060@66 i only
have 16mb. it doesnt have a gfx card in. one day on booting it fails to
find the atapi device which is the cd and swapping cd drives solves this.
the problem now is that when I try booting no startup it geos to the insert
disk screen. this, I've found out, doesn't happen if I unplug the ide lead
from the cd drive. when this is done it boots ostartup fine but obviously I
can go plugging and unplugging the ide lead so i'm looking for a solution.
everything also works when I take the 060 board out. I'm rather puzzed so
if anyone has any ideas I can try I'd be greatfull
