Hi, I'm new to this e-group. I have a stock Amiga 500 and always loved
the OS, but I never had the money to get a high-end machine. Still
don't, really, but I want to at least purchase a 1200 and expand as I go
along. Like lots of others, I had to move on to windows (don't hit me!)
because of work, etc., but I always was hoping for the best with Amiga.
I have a couple questions:
1. What is meant by the Amiga 1200 PCB?
2. Can I get on the net with just a stock 1200 with HD and external
modem without any expansion modules, like a tower? Did I have to have a
CD right off?
3. What software will enable me to get on net?
Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
