There are lots (well 25) small jpeg patterns on the
very first aacd
AACD01:AACD/Magazine/Guru/Birdie/MorePatterns/
There was a later CD that had loads of nifty backdrops and patterns on
it - of varying sizes - but I can't be arsed to find it so you'll have
to use the search function :)
