After too much time fiddling with Birdie2000 I made the sensible thing.
I reverted to an old Birdie I had stored. Birdie15, I think. It seems to work
fine. As for the windows, I saw a screen in a store that had the file lists with
a background and DOpus running. I will return there and ask how it's done.
