A:- Please tell us about the v44.1 exec patch.
A:- What does it do? Who made it? Where - if possible - can we find it?
The 44.1 exec patch can be used to patch a 3.1 rom with a bugfixed and
optimised version of exec. It's up to beta 3 and for me it works pretty
transparantly, ie. I haven't noticed any probelms. Once you patch the 3.1
rom you need to softkick it and to do this I use Blizkick. Blizkick is for
owners of Phase5/DCE accelerators and I believe there is RemApollo for
Apollo accelerators.
Exec 44.1 is unofficial and is very much use at your own risk but so far no
probs (at least for me). Both Exec 44.1 and Blizkick are written by the
prolific Amiga developer Mr Harry "Piru" Sintonen and can be found on his
web pages at http://www.jyu.fi/~sintonen/sw.html

A:- I seem to have missed this one as well :-)
This is part of the exec 44.1 archive.
