Hello,
sorry to bother you but I do not seem to have any luck in posting to ANY of
the yahoogroups.
I don't know what has happened to my system but I do not seem to be able
to load jpeg pics anymore.
This morning everything was fine. I was doing some work with ImageFX. I
switched off the computer, went out and came back tonight experiencing some
problems.
I am running CGX4.2 and MagellanII as WB replacement.
Magellan does not display my jpeg background anymore.
Multiview says invalid data if I try to load a jpeg pic.
Birdie does not display my jpeg patterns
MUI does not display my jpeg pics.
If I open a lister and double click on a jpeg pic or click once and choose
view nothing happens.
I tried to run dostrace to see what is wrong but I did not have any luck
with it.
I have tried re-installing akjfif and akjpeg and copy the sys:classes and
devs:datatypes from OS3.9 CD but nothing has changed.
I don't know what else to do. Have I messed up something in MagellanII
prefs?
Is it a dataype problem? i don't know why, but I do not seem to have much
luck with does datatypes.
Also, if I try to visualize a 24bit IFF with multiview I get
object is not a required type.
Same if I doubleclick on a IFF 24bit pic from a DOpus lister.
I really would like to solve this datatype problem once and forever.
