Subject: | CD Writer requirements? |
Hi folks,
I know this is going to sound dumb to most of you but here goes:
My girlfriend has just bought a CD rewriter to use in her flatmates PC for
Napster & the like. It's an ordinary IDE job and I installed it for them
easily enough.
In a couple of months she's moving to Glasgow & won't have a PC.
What I want to know is will I be able to use this in my machine. (My spec is
at the bottom.) I'm aware I'll need a decent sized HD but will that be
enough or is CD-copying/writing to much for an 030?
Also what's the best software? I've heard of makeCD. The PC package that
came with it, Easy CD Creator, is really easy to use. Does anyone know if
MakeCD is comparable?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
Robert Wilson
