I thought it was worse than that, and it was 50 people,
unless you pay more for the business service, which gives
you the 20 people.

And what are the chances of everyone that's sharing your
bandwidth all being active at the same time? If you're looking
at webpages, everyone will have a few seconds downloading stuff
followed by quite possibly a minute or 2 reading the page
before clicking on any links.

I've seen ADSL in action on a Sunday evening, which seems to
strangely be a particularly busy time of the week. It was
working fine and rather fast. Big downloads could possibly
see download speeds that fluctuate wildly though, but still
fast, on average.

As for "affordable and more people have it", is 40 quid a month
not affordable? Sounds like a bargain to me. And I heard 50% of
the country can get it somewhere today.

At least I can get it, and they're doing it on Thursday. Apparently ;)

The strange modems shaped like some sort of fish/tortoise thing
are cute too.
