Hello all,
Can anyone help with problems with an Apollo 1230/40 Turbo MkIII
accellerator board which is causing much agro?
Second hand - age unknown fitted with 16meg single socket. No FPU.
Problem is - won't boot up unless CPU caches are set on early startup
screen.
Now added line for CPU caches, etc. in startup-sequence.
Still no better.
Taken advice given regarding above and tested in many ways. (more than one
mobo available, alternative hard-drives, 500 PSU's)
Removed simms - worked okay.
Added simms - instant Guru.
Never been really stable.
Working under OS3.0 with 3.0 roms.
Ascertained not clocked.
Any ideas? All suggestions gratefully received.
Warning - not too technically minded, plain English a good idea.
Only been on Amiga for 2 years. Still learning.
