Hmm,

On your Acelerator, do you have an early startup for it ?
On my Blizzard PPC, you press Esc and you are presented with a menu.
It could be that you are trying to run 70ns SIMMS at 60ns ?
I think there are utils to set the RAM speed in your Startup-Sequence.

I have a pair of 32 MB FPM 60ns SIMMS and they work fine in 60ns mode ;-)

Also, do you have a Towerised setup or are you just using a desktop with a
'hot' 040 which
isn't getting and space to dissapate heat ?
I had trouble with my 42.6 MHz Viper 1 which crashed every now and then,
didn't when I first got it.
However, when I upgraded to a Power Tower, which comes with an uprated PSU no
crashes occured from
that day. My point is that you may not have enough power to sufficiently
drive your card off the A1200/500's
PSUs that you've tried.
