Ok, that's fair comment, but have you tried it the other way round.
i.e. The SIMM from the dodgy board on a board that works?

Oh dear;) Ok, again how about the test the other way round. A good board
on the Amiga that crashes with the Apollo board?

IMHO, either your Apollo board is faulty or the memmory SIMM is cream
crackered, more likely the board. Ss I said earlier my identical Apollo
board failed the same way. The SIMM from it is now in a new Apollo 030/40
Turbo Pro Mk III board with twin SIMM chip slots giving me 32 megs and up
to 64 megs if I need it, also has FPU and MMU .....£69 from Eyetech.....Good
value:)

However please take care in elimination by swapping components around
that you don't damage one of your working miggys.
