Do you not have a graphics card? I do, and the drag scrolling in
MysticView is pretty speedy here. Maybe it's not so hot on AGA.

You could always set it up to resize the image to fit the window/screen,
and then you wouldn't need to bother with scrolling (keys 1 and 3 on the
numpad toggle between 100% size and fit to window - of course, it can
be changed via the menus too :)
