That fair, comparing the latest IDE standard with third-hand SCSI...

Drives would have to be a lot cheaper to cover the £90 price tag, and
that's presumably the dealer price. It would only be worth it if you
wanted to connect existing IDE kit, or wanted a DVD drive. The price of
SCSI DVD drives is scandalous.
