MuFS is secure providing

1) you disconnect all removable media and lock the computer in another
room
2) any attacker is sufficiently incompetent that that don't just write
over the user information structure in RAM in order to elevate their
access level

It's not so much proper security being embedded in the Amiga ROM, it's
proper security being embedded in the whole damn OS. Without memory
protection you can never have a secure operating system, and once you have
memory protection every single OS level action has to check that the user
doing it has permission to do so otherwise you're back to where you
started.
