Hi there,
I too have a Prelude ZII (with MpegIt) in my A3000 (OS 3.9). I initially
had problems, but that was a result of shipping damage. Other than that I
have had no problems and am glad that I bought it.
Does the Prelude Check (PrlCheck) program work correctly?
Have you tried updating the software pieces to their latest versions from
http://www.act-net.com/Prelude/softindexe.html ? There is a special AHI
driver there for the Prelude.
In the Prelude Mixer, are all the channels turned on?
What version of AHI are you using?
As for why it apparently knocked your SCSI config out of whack, no idea
there.
It does seem that there is some sort of misconfig with AHI though.
Does the prlplay program output any sound when used to play an audio file?
