Hi,
Apologies if asked before... I have just got online & need to upgrade
my Apollo 1240. An 8Mb SIMM came with it, and docs don't mention EDO
SIMMs so I wonder if EDOs are compatible. I have read "somewhere" that
Apollos don't like EDOs yet have known people who do use them.
Also can anyone recommend which replacement battery is compatible. The
type on it now looks like it has an integral "clip" as part of the battery
itself. Is it safe to just desolder that and solder on a new one? Advice
would
be helpful as it looks like the battery is starting to corrode.
