the Prelude...have you tried pushing the socketed ic's further down
in their sockets, or done a visual check of the board?
I have a Prelude in my Amiga too, along with AD516,PIV,AriadneI,
& MFCIII and a Cyberstorm PPC 060/604, and has experienced no
such trouble.btw, I have a scsi chain too with hd,cd-rom and writer.
