Yes, I am aware of if disks are left in floppy drives / CD-ROM's can
mess up the icon positions upon booting. I don't have any disks
present in any CD-ROM / floppy drives.

Well, they are all colour icons. This I've checked by loading them
into IconEdit (with a newicon you are asked if you wish to drop the
NewIcon data) so suffice to say, they _are_ colour icons for all my
HD partitions.

No, I doubt that third party custom libraries have overwritten
anything which is causing the problem. I am running a bare 3.9
installation with Cybergraphix v4 drives and the BoingBag 1 release
installed over the top (which was installed to a 'clean' partition.
