| Subject: | Amiga 3000 doesn't recognize Cybervision 64/3D |
Hello
I am setting up an A3000, and have run into a problem.
The A3000 has a Cyberstorm 060/PPC with 48 Meg RAM, 16 Meg on the
mainboard, 400 Meg drive and 4x CD on the A3000 built-in SCSI. SCSI on
the Cyberstorm is disabled (until I get my ultra-wide drive). OS is
3.9, Kickstart 40.68. I have the latest Buster and other custom chips.
I installed my Cybervision 64/3d card, and the system can't see it. It
doesn't show up in the early startup screen. The card works fine in my
A2000. I know the 3000 can autoconfig cards, because it can see my
Xsurf NIC in the early startup screen.
I have tried all four slots, but have the same problem in all
locations.
Could this be a Zorro III issue. I have no other cards that will
configure as Zorro III, and the Cybervision64/3d cannot be forced to
Zorro II mode.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
