Of course you could use a switcher box to swap the serial cable from the PC to the Amiga and vice versa, but then you wouldn't be able to have both computers using the Internet at the same time, which is what the article is about. What (I believe) is being attempted is to have the Amiga dialled up and have the PC (spit) use the Amiga as a gateway to the Internet using the ethernet connection. This is something I have tried at home, but as yet haven't got to work yet, looking forward to reading the article.
