Agreed, it's not as though it's difficult to accept online payments.

Processing foreign currency cheques is expensive.

Why not just post the fiver? I've registered several programs by sending
cash, and it's not like £5 is a lot to risk.

They already have. RegNet provide an good service, but very few Amiga
shareware authors use it.
