Went to the Culham UKAEA faciliity today and had a close look at their
fusion reactors (no they weren't online at he time - that's why I'm still
here!), now there's some seriously sexy technology in action:

A plasma cloud that runs hotter than anything in the known universe bar a
supernova, a Thompson laser as big as a house, a 42.000 fps digital
camera!!!!!!!!!!!! Control rooms absolutely choked full of Sun and Unix work
stations with scarcely a Wintel box in sight. Only thig missing was miggy,
Sigh.

Okay, so it's the wrong kind of Fusion, I just wanted talk about that
camera - shame it's a bit on the big side though:-)
