Actually I wrote the above - and it causes confusion with different
attributes to other people - but Neil figures it is a waste of
bandwidth.... I just wanted to clarify and keep a discussion going....

Banking thru the Internet is saving these banking institutions TONS of
money. It costs the banks pennies for on-line transactions. Forget a
human teller, physical locations for a bank, life, medical and other
insurance costs etc.
These banks cry hmmmm.... All the way to a bank.
