As a former moderator and SYSOP in Fidonet I remember the same problems.....

WellI am 52 and I have 5 bank accounts - some have virtually no money
in them - I switch from one to another - whomever provides me with the
best deal.....
Bank of America, Wells Fargo and the big US banks try to nickle and
dime you to death with fees....
The best bet is a credit union.....
Of course banks HAVE to provide a service - that is what they are in
business for.. Go with the ones that provide the service....
Of course there was the UK bank that went bankrupt when a mid-level
manager brought a bank down playing with derivatives - lost a billion
and change - not to say US banks haven't had the same problem,,,,
Of course it appears that Amiga Active is not overextending itself
even though there are quite a few people who miss getting the latest
issue (good marketing in my viewpoint).....
(Let people subscribe - I did - cost me 78 quid.....) but I'm
happy....
