I use CMQ060, and don't have any particular problems with it. However,
I remember that some versions were buggy - make sure you have the latest
(from Aminet) and have read the docs fully, since there's some important
points in there regarding which version to install, IIRC. I've never
used SystemPatch, so if any of these two are causing the problems then
I'd tend to think SystemPatch is the more likely.

Also, if you haven't already done so, install the IBrowse 2.2 patch,
which will help cut-down on crashes, amongst other things. It can be
found at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ibrowse/files/
