Yeh I can see his point about a native x86 port of Amiga O/S being
disastrous but Amithlon isn't a port, it's an emulator and will only run
68k stuff and there is no DE support for 68k nor will O/S 4~ onwards be
68k native. Amithlon is not much more than running UAE on a PC. The
advantage of Amithlon is it is very fast and doesn't need windows and
since most Amiga users have a gates crate anyway it would be a good
product to bring to market.
The Amiga Macintosh emulators didn't kill the Mac market and most UAE users
run old games mainly. Amithlon is you might say, a more professional use
UAE.
