I believe this would be the one that refered to some unmarked hire cars
intended for a speeding crack down. Sorry mate, this one was largely
fiction, wouldn't/couldn't really use hire cars, not least for the fact they
wouldn't have the required electronics etc. And I doubt the hire company
would be too keen. Ironically a large proportion of speed enforcement is
done from stationary vehicles/on foot - and is definitely a minority
pursuit - many people go their whole career without ever "doing" a speeder.
Good story though.
