Wrong! This is not a *requirement* of the specification, merely an expansion
of the specification. He is free to make the SCSI HDD any ID he likes as
long as it does not clash with any other device on the bus. Of course the
ability to use a higher order ID reaps it's rewards if you ever have >7
devices =)
