BUT -- if I were to have only two ends, I would have:

- The Cyberstorm at the beginning of the chain
- A terminator would then HAVE to be next -- wouldn't that cause a
problem?

The way I have it now, I have:

First, the terminator, which is theoretically providing termination to
the Cyberstorm. The next thing on the SCSI chain is the Cyberstorm,
then the hard drive, then the ports, then the external port.

maybe it should look like this:

[terminator]----[Cyberstorm]----[hard drive]---[blank port]----[blank
port]---[external port, Zip]---[CD drive]---[terminator]

THAT's what the diagram is like...I can't draw worth a crap. :)

Here's my old diagram, revised to what it REALLY looks like:

[10] .------------------------------.
[9] | .-----. |
.-----. | | [2] |----[1] |
| [8] | | `--|--' |
`-----' | / |
| | .------. / |
| | | [3] |-< |
.-----. | `------' | |
| [7] | | _/ |
`-----' | [4] |
`---[6]|------[5]__/ |
| |
`------------------------------'

Key:
1 -- internal active SCSI-3 terminator
2 -- Cyberstorm PPC
3 -- Compaq SCSI-3 hard drive
4 -- unused port
5 -- unused port
6 -- external port with MD68-DB25 converter
7 -- Zip drive
8 -- CD burner
9 -- MD50-MD68 converter
10 -- external SCSI-3 active terminator

Sorry about that, Neil...did my original diagram wrong! But I promise
you there isn't an unterminated end in my setup, as you'll see.
