Your PC sound chip doesn't hail from 198x,does it?
I'm just viewing things in perspective. Isn't it curious for such an old
machine to be doing things it shouldn't be capable of?
We can't compare the two machines : it's obvious that the PC's have the
upper hand as far as hardware is concerned. Don't think there is an
argument about that.

I really ain't trying to start a platform war. I never even used a PC
for any lengthy period...
No one ( at least not me) is saying that the Amiga chipset is better, just
that it does its job ok.

I'm just happy my "dead" computer still does everything I want it to.
It's a question of personal taste.
