True. Even a small difference in speakers more than masks out the
differences between sound cards...

Yeah, it's funny that - Must be one of the most overlooked parts of any
computer system. So many ppl actually have bloody good soundcards, and these
tinny speakers that'd put a laptop to shame. I can proudly say that I have
*never* owned a set of computer speakers - I'm quite happy with my 4x50W RMS Amp, 2 Wharfedale speakers and 2 Sony speakers of matching wattages... I
listen to everything else through them, so why not my computers? Though,
having said that, a friend bought a new Dell for IRĀ£3,000, and with it came
a 5.1 surround set of Altec Lansing speakers that have put a crack in his
ceiling. Pretty impressive :)

BTW, /Usually/ PMPO = 2xMPO = 2xRMS, so 100W computer speakers would be 25W
RMS overal, 12.5W each for a pair...
