Subject: | Yahoo IDs/Cookies etc. |
Hi,
I was recently invited to a new mailing list but had to have access via the
Yahoo website to read the older postings I was interested in. Since I had
signed up via e-mail had to use Convert Wizard, sign up for access code,
sign up for ID, sign up for Yahoo mail....
Anyway, I am recognised there when I use IBrowse, which I used when signing
up, not when I go there with AWeb3.4 having just got that. Do I have to/can
I convert info from IBrowse to AWeb, or get over this some other way?
Also, can your e-mail address etc. be transmitted via Cookies? I am very
wary of using these, which may be why I have problems such as above.
Although only having registered on Yahoo, Micromart & AScifi sites, (with
"no special offers etc." ticked) and using fake e-mail address for News I
am slowly but surely getting spam! :-|
Kind regards
Jim Cad*
